GM Exteriors was founded in 2001 with the mission to be the leading fiber cement siding installation contractor in the GTA and surrounding area. Our priorities are to provide a safe workplace for our staff and field personnel, best quality workmanship on all siding installations and a learning environment that merges training, technology and continuous improvement. We are committed to understanding the expectations of our customers and delivering on the promise of value.

Our management group brings over 115 years experience in the residential and commercial building construction industry in Ontario. GM Exteriors and its related companies have working relationships with all siding product manufacturers and architects as well as most general contractors and home builders in the GTA. In addition to installation services, GM Exteriors distributes products designed to benefit the siding industry. We sell products from Falcon Scaffolds, Featherlite, Skil/Bosch Tools, Hitachi, DeWalt, OSI Sealants, Sico (Para) and TexCote so that our customers can benefit from the technologies that these companies have developed to enhance fiber cement siding installation.

We have selected James Hardie Building Products as our primary siding manufacturer partner because of their history of quality, commitment, service and product development. JHBP was founded over 100 years ago in Australia and built its first manufacturing plant in the USA in 1990. Today they operate 9 plants, producing nearly 2 billion square feet of fiber cement siding annually. JHBP is the largest manufacturer of siding in North America.

Offering a 50 year limited product warranty, non-combustibility, impact and abrasion resistance and the ability to select from a wide range of attractive colours, fiber cement siding is the professional’s choice for low maintenance exterior cladding. Fiber cement siding can be used in a multitude of designs including lap siding, board and batten, shingle accents. It is well suited for Tudor designs and stucco finishes and is the perfect complement to brick and stone. It is cost effective and versatile, particularly where non-combustibility, impact resistance and low maintenance are key considerations.

GM Exteriors has become the largest fiber cement siding contractor in Ontario and, with our industry partners, is committed to growing this high performance product in the Ontario market. We have also added wood sidings, stucco finishes, architectural ornaments, posts and railings, aluminum soffit and fascia and eaves and downspouts so that we can provide our customers with full service on their exterior cladding.
